Homoaffective families

The author reflects on the issue of homoaffective families, considering homosexuality within the family of origin of individuals, and their attempt to assume homosexuality in front of their parents, siblings and the wider society. The paper looks at homophobia, and the issues that homoaffective partnerships face in relation to society, as well as the issue of child adoption, presenting the implications of these choices in a mainly heterosexual society. The author also emphasises the importance of supportive social networks.
