Retirement and the difficult of saying goodbye to the professional role
Keywords:
psychodrama, roles, retirementAbstract
This is a report of the experience of a sociodramatic group preparing for retirement, which helped one of the participants to realize how hyperdeveloped the professional role in his life was. Five women and three men aged between 52 and 64 participated in the meetings. The reported meeting consisted in dramatizing the roles performed by the protagonist with proportional graphical representations. The experience indicated the importance of diversifying roles today for the performance of different social roles after retirement.
