This article explores the application of group therapy in a group intervention aimed at raising racial awareness at a private university in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Inspired by the work of Alberto Guerreiro Ramos and the use of sociodrama in the Black Experimental Theater (TEN), the intervention aimed to promote reflection on the impacts of racism among Psychology students, highlighting discriminatory stereotypes to foster deconstruction and empathy. The activity included the use of warm-up (both non- specific and specific), dramatization of racist scenes, and sharing. The experience demonstrated that sociodrama is an effective tool for raising racial awareness and adopting anti-racist attitudes, contributing to social transformation.
