Abstract

This paper presents the use of sociodrama as a tool in the training process of residents in a teaching hospital in the city of Fortaleza, regarding the performance of their roles as health professionals-students acting in multiprofessional teams in a hospital care chain. Sociodrama sessions were used with a 15-day interval between them. The analysis of the sessions and the residents’ reports showed the potential of sociodrama as an important strategy for public policy intervention in that it contributed to health care for health workers and empowered the multiprofessional group, promoting the strengthening of bonds and improving the performance of their professional roles in the institution. This article contributes to the dissemination of Psychodrama in Brazil.
