Abstract

This article addresses the evolution of human understanding of moderation and transcendence from ancient Greece to contemporary therapeutic methods, emphasizing Moreno (2006), who proposed a way to surpass personal limitations without revering deities or authorities, recognizing the intrinsic potential of each individual. It was a research-intervention approach, involving 210 students with no prior contact with Psychodrama, whose participation was synthesized into 610 questions and analyzed based on Bardin’s (2016) content analysis. The results indicate the effectiveness of Psychodrama when the depth of its existential phenomenological approach is understood as the main pillar for the subsequent comprehension of techniques and instruments.
