Abstract

This article is based on the reflection about prison aroused by the encounter between reading the book A Defective Color and the experience of working in prison units. The emerging question in this reflective process was: How to propose an experiential space that favors the reconnection of people deprived of their beliefs, their dreams, their ideologies? The presentation of the sociopsychodramatic intervention in the Centro de Observação Penal (COP/Ba) invites us to rethink the understanding of the intervention actions proposed to people deprived of freedom. Sociopsychodrama and authors who deal with the processes of enslavement and imprisonment favor reflection on prison, as well as the understanding of the proposed intervention.
